Hi, I’m Amber, owner of Tesori Collective.
After more than a decade in Rochester, I’ve returned home to Oswego with my husband and our three cats—beginning the next chapter with Tesori.
Fashion has always been my language. I spent over 20 years in retail, with 17 of those years in management—leading teams, shaping customer experiences, and learning what makes a store feel alive. I ran stores for American Eagle and Charlotte Russe, where I found the kind of connections that mattered most: conversations, laughter, and a sense of community. When I moved into big‑box management in 2019, I quickly realized how much I missed that intimacy. Tesori is my way of bringing it back, in a boutique that feels personal and welcoming.
Growing up in Oswego, I was shaped by shops like Katmandu and Midnight Sun—colorful, eclectic treasure troves that sparked curiosity and joy. Thinking back, I guess it was there that I first realized I wanted my own store, my own brand. At the time, that dream felt out of reach, but those memories stayed with me.
And then came Hanson. They’ve been my favorite band since I was 12, and I still remember buying my very first Hanson merch at Katmandu. Years later, when I found myself in Tulsa for the annual trip to see them, I discovered Ida Red. From the moment I walked in, it felt like magic—part gift store, part fever dream, and instantly unforgettable. Standing there, I felt the same spark I’d known at Katmandu, and the dream of having my own store was reignited. Still, working for a corporation, I didn’t think I’d ever be able to leave the stable paycheck or take a risk on myself. But that feeling stayed with me, reminding me that the dream was still alive.
So what is Tesori? The name means “treasures” in Italian and nods to my family name. Tesori Collective specializes in permanent jewelry—timeless, custom‑fit pieces designed to stay with you.
